First Pakistan Community Medical Centre in Dubai

The Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) is all set to officially launch its landmark expansion Center on its Independence Day on August 14, 2016, at an estimated project called Pakistan  cost of Dh12 million.

Announcing the details in a press conference held on Tuesday, Dr Faisal Ikram, general secretary of PAD said: “The expansion project will commence under the title “ONE NATION ONE DREAM”. The new centre will be completed in a span of 18-20 months.

The main highlight of the expansion project is the medical centre, which would be a not-for-profit centre within the Pakistan Centre and will be the first of its kind in the GCC countries by any refugee community.

Member doctors and paramedics, along with numerous volunteers, have been conducting monthly free health camps for the past seven years on the premises of the association and even in labor accommodations. The plan includes supporting public health issues, training and research as well as partnerships across the communities.
