Shab-e-Barat Urdu Books: Shab-e-Barat is one of the most blessed and sacred nights in the Islamic history. This night arrives on 15th Shabban and hence Holy Prophet (PBUH) has been named this night and month as “My Month”.

This day holds the same imperative place and prominence just like other religious festivities and proceedings. This is the night when the Muslims make their bond even much stronger with the God on forever terms and conditions. This is the juts night when the Muslims can remove out all of their sins just by bowing them down before the God.

Shab-e-Barat

On the night of Shab-e-Bart the Muslims have to recite “La Hawla walaa Quwwata illa Billahil-aliyil Azeem” almost forty times and the same number of times they have to recite the Darood.  Some of the people decorate their houses with the colorful lights and arranges special Majlis in their surroundings.

This night holds the great significance because this is the night when the person gets the enormous chance for getting closer and closer with the God. Hence this night make the God and Human bond stronger and forever eternal. Just like all other months of blessings this night also demands for the fast.

In the beginning of the night Holy Prophet used to perform the fast on this night that makes it obligatory on all the Muslims in afterward life. Not until the death time it is compulsory for all the Muslims to offer the fast on this night for making their soul pure and clean.

There are many Quranic verses as well that signify the importance of this month at great scale. Holy Prophet has stated that: “People are not aware of the excellence of the month of Shabaan, the month that comes between the months of Rajab and Ramadaan. In this month, the action of the people is presented (to ALLAH).

I wishes my actions to be presented whilst I am fasting.” Hazrat Ali has even stated his reviews in one of the verse by saying: o people, spend the 15th night of shabaan in divine worship and keep fast on the 15th day of shabaan. on this auspicious night, ALLAH spreads HIS mercy on the earth and calls out: ‘IS THERE ANY WHO SEEKS CURE FROM ILLNESS THAT I MAY. CURE HIM? Thus HE calls the needy, and grants them their needs, up till dawn.” Hence this is one of such nights in the Islamic history that is one of the pillars of Islamic foundations.
