The Pakistan Fashion Design Council [PFDC] in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, the world’s leading beauty brand, have announced the names of participating fashion designers and labels set to highlight the bridal trends for 2024 – 2025 at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2024 [PLBW] being held in Lahore from Coming Soon.
HSY is an emerging South Asian fashion label started by Pakistani designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin in 2000. As of winter 2005, HSY employs 350 employees. It is based out of Lahore, Pakistan. Traditionally a bridal and formal wear couture house, HSY has begun to shift towards other genres of design. Currently the collection includes the traditional formal line, a ‘made-to-order’ line, a studio line, and a ready-to-wear(R2W) line.
A men’s line is planned for spring 2006. The launch of HSY Living in late 2005 introduced a collection of home furniture, interior accessories, and soft furnishings. Now this is a well known and most popular to all over the Pakistan and ranked among the world’s best designers.
HSY at PFDC L’Oreal Bridal Week 2020:
HSY is a well known participant in PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Weeks.This year PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2020 Day-1 was opened by iconic designer. And HSY, participating at the PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week platform for the third time.
HSY got his best to the cat walk. An HSY’s HSY give amazing collection that paid homage to the independence, beauty and confidence of women featuring three unique segments:
- Vaneeza
- Mehreen
- Reema
The most interesting seen created by Reema who sandal is making headlines right now.
Collection
Fluid silhouettes with an accent on structure at the hipline and detailed dart manipulated corseting and blouses, with a strong emphasis on silk velvets, diaphanous chiffons, delicate tissue and hand woven jacquards that created a look that was luxurious and opulent.
Old age techniques and Intricate handicraft had been used for a bride who appreciates the richness of her heritage. The collection include all tthe textures that encompassed stitches from every province across the nation, such as pitta, gota, pippal girah, long girah, marori, Kashmiri tanka, crystals, mukesh, naqshi ganta, applique, hyderabadi phool, khichwa tanka, chawal tanka and paarsi gara.
Colours:
The amazing colour theme of HSY designs in PFDC Bridal Week 2020 was Red, Blue and Golden.But the collection incorporated the use of three strong colour themes which were showcased during three individual segments on the ramp; classic HSY Rouge fresh luminous corals and hues of bright and oxidized golds daring midnight blues
Jewellery:
For this collection, HSY had collaborated exclusively with Ahmad Haroon Khan, who had designed jewellery inspired by the Nizam of Hyderabad and Queen Noor Jehan to complement the collection.
Make -Up:
Make-up looks for HSY’s collection showcase were created exclusively by L’Oréal Paris. And make up artist put effort to reperesent best make up results.
Musician Junaid Khan also walked the ramp for HSY’s collection showcase segment, Mehreen.The amazing use in collectionof HSY in PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week was handcrafted in silver with gold formation and featured precious and semi-precious stones.
