The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has started the maintenance and development works on the King Faisal Street flyover and the junction bridge No 4 on Dhaid-Sharjah Road on Sunday midnight and Sharjah airport road will be closed for five hours from midnight until August 22.
The initial stage involves the development of the first lane of the King Faisal Bridge from August 07 to 22. This move is meant to increase the capacity of the road network.
The regular and emergency maintenance works are to be carried out in periodic phases and at night just to avoid any disruption of traffic flow.
