Pakistan fashion design council (PEDC) is business firm that hardly work to serve as a big advertiser and promoter of fashion industry of Pakistan. PFDC promoted and facilitates the fashion business by arranging big events or fashion show where well known brands come and participate. This platform gives them the opportunity to display their latest collection by participating in these shows.

In 2009 Sunsilk fashion week was introduced. It held twice a year in different major cities of Pakistan. It gives a big platform to highlight the prowess, trends and craft by the main designer of Pakistan.

9th PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2016

At day 2 of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week the designer who show their collection are Nomi Ansari, Ali Xeeshan Theatre Studio, Nickie Nina and Karma Pink.

At PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Show 2016 fashion presentation in designer showcases was made by  Nickie Nina. The collection Chambeli by Nicky Nina captures the heart of people. In her collection she depict the wetern taste by using white color, and use of French lace make it adornments with pearls and organza use on different fabrics.

Sania Mastakia is another popular designer she designed dazzling design of women clothing. She always layout her seasonal and occasional collection by using different amazing strategies. The collection by her included some western cuts, fairytale style gwns, created from classic fabrics like chiffon, silk, organza etc. she used mustard, orange, black, peech color in her collection.
