Design trio Kamiar Rokni Rehan Bashir, Tia Noon of the popular House of Kamiar Rokni showcased new collection at the impressive PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2016.
They showcased a complete version of their latest capsule collection that was first presented as part of British Council’s Fashion at prestigious London Fashion Week. Their new collection has amazing craft techniques and traditional fabrics which also has cultural and traditional references. Their collection is bassed on the fabric including jamavar, organza, karandi, tissue and net.
Speaking about their collection, designers Kamiar Rokni Rehan Bashir and Tia Noon have said that their inspiration had been to work with textile that is locally manufactured and they have created something for the market of UK. They further told that their creative focus was to interpret flourishing brocades that are typically used for traditional design and create something contemporary and modren.”
