Malala Named Woman Of The Year 2013

There would be no such single person in this world that would not be known with the name of Malala Yousufzai. She is one of the names in Pakistan on whom Pakistan feels proud of. Malala Yousufzai has taken hold over many awards and achievements so far and now one more award in going to take place under her name. Newly, Malala has been named out as the Woman of the Year for the year 2013.

This is definitely one of the biggest successes for any woman to highlight herself in the list of top renowned women of the whole world. She has been noticed out to be the 12 trailblazers, entertainers, influencers, and game changers and these have been the main reasons because of which she has been marked as one of the prominent women in 2013. In 2005 this spot was given to Rape survivor and international icon Mukhtara Mai and Academy Award-winning film-maker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and acid burn survivor Zakia in 2012.

In addition we would like to mention for the readers that this year Malala was even nominated for the Noble Prize as well but she could not win it up. She was even honored to give away her interview on BBC Urdu Service in which she highlights the main troubles and complications that a woman has to face while living in Taliban.

She stated that she has been working in Iran since 2005 and her main aim is to make the women aware from the importance and imperative place of education in our life. It is just the education that can make them aware from the outside and allow them to take breathe in the fresh air.
