  • Pakistan Muslim League (N)
  • Pakistan Muslim League (Q)
  • Muttahida Qaumi Movement
  • Awami National Party
  • Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Let’s talk in detail regarding the beginning and background of these Pakistani political parties.

This party was foremost commenced on 30th November, 1967 by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He was the first chairman of this party and hence the 9th Prime Minister of Pakistan as well. This is considered to be one of the biggest political parties in Pakistan. Back in the ear of 1970 this party won the Pakistan General Elections as well. After the death of Zulfiqar Bhutto this party was supervised by his daughter Benazir Bhutto. She was honored with the title of Prime Minister twice times. This party has the maximum seats in National Assembly with the amount of 126. The PPP gains huge sum of vote just through the labor category.

This party has been entitled as “N” that stands for Nawaz. This party has been started by the previous Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. This party enriches 90 seats in National assembly. This party has all the time supported friendly relations with India, America and European countries.  Mostly urban and business people gave out their vote for this party. Muslim League Nawaz is one of the greatest competitors for PPP.

This is the third biggest party in Pakistan that comprises 53 seats in National Assembly. This party was run by Pervaiz Musharraf and was undertaken in 2002. After the resignation of Pervaiz Musharaf this party loose down all the popularity but still 23% of the votes are given in their favor by the agricultural and farmers divisions.

This party was formed in 1978 by Altaf Hussain. The main roots of this party fall in the City of Karachi. This party has all the time spoken against the illegal and criminal activities taking place in Karachi. This is one of the top favorite parties in Sindh and therefore they hold back top seats in the Sindh assembly as well. They are the fourth top competitors in the forthcoming elections.

This party is mostly witnessed in the supervising of Baluchistan and Khyber provinces. In 2008 election this party merely holds 2.0% of votes in their account. But all the improvements and betterments that have been so far witnessed in the Provinces of Baluchistan has been all due to the efforts of Awami National Party.

Last we have the Pakistan Tahreeq-e-Insaf that was founded on 25th April 1996 by Imran Khan in Lahore. This party fully boycott in 2008 elections but now they popularity has been hugely increased in the coming timings and we can say that a new change will arrive in the forthcoming elections.
