Dubai authorities have announced plans to conduct an emergency and crisis drill at the Jebel Ali and Expo Metro Stations. The drill, referred to as a “collaborative drill,” will involve the participation of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, as well as various federal and local government entities and departments.
The primary objective of the drill is to evaluate the readiness and responsiveness of the working teams in handling emergency situations.
According to a tweet from the Government of Dubai Media Office, the drill is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, May 24, between 1am and 4am.
These drills are regularly conducted throughout the country to assess the preparedness and capabilities of authorities in dealing with emergencies.
By conducting such exercises, authorities aim to gauge their level of emergency preparedness and ensure effective response measures.
