Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced that Tehreek-e-Ehtesaab (an anti-corruption) rally has begun starting from Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and ending at the border of the Punjab Attock District.
Imran Khan has a huge fan following and on his call a huge crowd of his supporters joined him. He is very popular, especially in youth and girls can be seen in this rally from Rawalpindi to Islamabad with an immense enthusiasm.

They are holding PTI’s flags in their hands and having face painted. These girls are showing their enthusiastic spirit and giving Imran khan an idea of their loyalty .
The rally is reportedly meant to put pressure on the PMLN government over various issues. These issues include:
- Implementation of National Action Plan (NAP)
- Panama leaks investigation: No progress on Terms of References (ToRs)
- Pending FATA reforms
- Repatriation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and others.
