World renowned singer Ustad Fida Hussain has passed away. He had been undergoing treatment in the hospital’s cardiology ward for the past few days.
Apart from his relatives, a large number of students and music lovers have been deeply saddened by his demise.
Fida Hussain, a 68-year-old teacher, was admitted to hospital a few days ago with a heart condition.
Ustad Fida Hussain was an expert in traditional music. The sweetness of his voice and the elasticity of his tone enchanted the listeners.
